Scattered thoughtsA Poem by SleeplessVolcano
My thoughts are rising
like towering cumulonimbus clouds over the oceans of my desolation Winds of change scatter bits and pieces of forgotten memories and some I've picked up - washed up on anonymous beaches. I wonder whether my grey-thick clouds will confuse a hapless traveler lost in a rudderless vessel. Maybe my monochrome mist may stir someone to forge ahead not knowing that hostile rocks lurk ahead. The wind whispers in a stern breeze - Don't fear for those foolish captains their waywardness is their own calamity and with that, I spread my wings embrace the cold mountain and fathomless ocean and scatter my sky-wide thoughts, liberally. © 2021 SleeplessVolcanoAuthor's Note
