Come a bit closer

Come a bit closer

A Poem by SleeplessVolcano

Glad to see you here
It's about time
that we enjoy
life's nectar, together

Yes, I know
we don't always fly
in the same breeze
but let's try again -
if you try, so will I.

Not far from here
I found a patch
of purple pelargoniums
right there, where we met.

How about it?
The wind's in our favor
come on
let's flutter
together.

Reconnecting, a reunion, trying again in love. Sweet, thoughtful and hopeful.

lol@ cute together.....
Reunions are always great ;)
A reunion, a chance to rekindle a romance. The purple pelargoniums a nice touch. The final stanza, one of hope. Nicely conveyed lines.

Indeed, with enough hope, we may just give positive change the impetus it needs. Thanks for review.. read more
Reunited with an old love, or love interest. Where the spark still is still very much alive. Quite romantic. Beautiful poem.
