Author's Note

Bizarre comments from The Donald about how Finland, apparently, prevent forest fires by raking their leaves. The claim was denied by Finland's president. Watch this space - some sort of "covfefe"-like u-turn or "clarification" is bound to, well, crawl out of the woods. (read White House).

First, it was the 'bad management of forests' the reason for those fires.... now the solution, raking the leaves? Where are they supposed to rake the leaves? In the forest ?????

Yeah, it is snowballing. But both in Cali and in Finland it does not make sense ;) As the saying goes, it is always wise to put our tongues in gear before we open our mouths :)

As a Canadian watching it all I have three thoughts:

1. Thank god he's not OUR leader.
2. He is incredibly entertaining.
3. It's scary as f**k that he's in power and people actually support and defend him.

Update.....on the bbc news website there is a video of Finnish news doing a voxpops asking what they made of it all. All had no clue what he was talking about and just laugh and shake their head.
Just stick the mad f**k in a care home and tell him its where king of the universe lives :)
