So much said in those words unsaid.
Sometimes it's best to not say them but I think if I knew there were words to be said it would drive me nuts not knowing what they were. And maybe that was your goal. This is so good and bit wrenching.

When, eventually, we have the words, the moment is gone! Oh well, life is wrenching, right? Now that word is going to churn out a poem out of my soul tonight......wrenching........:)

This is a creative & powerful way to describe that huge "GULP!" that happens when we swallow something we are dying to spit out loud! This message is in harmony with your other short poem I just reviewed . . . both packed with honesty & attitude. Sometimes no embellishment is needed (as in your other short poem), but this one has just the right little bit of embellishment for the ending (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

I'm actually attempting to write a novel, and ironically, my writing has become more succinct, i.e. I'm paying more attention to each word I have in each sentence....who knows, maybe my love of poetry may come in handy when I go for "the big one" :)

We often forget until the instant we say them, that silence can be golden, and speaking without thinking can devestate.
We never do seem to find a balance of silence and sharing, do we?
Your words here echo within, just like all the memories of when I should have known better to just shut the hell up.
Hopefully, that lesson will sink into me one day.

There are some things that don't need to be said, but some just finds a way to your gullet and straight they are out of the mouth! They can't be hidden anymore

I guess it would be a blessing to have the strength to keep quiet and not say things....which would latter lead to heart ache and cause pain...
But sometimes we humans tend to give in to our weakness and express without thinking of the future....
If we all lived with caution and precautions then maybe life would just be a night mare controlled and measured...nothing that flows with the tune of heart....
I rather prefer a chaotic world that let's me express than a world which fills me with fear of what will happen if I speak out....
Nice one Mr.
I know that feeling, when it is better to bite your tongue and remain silent for fear of saying too much and regretting it. You conveyed this very well. The sunrise I would agree a better option. Others might not be able to hold back.
