a song of mystery perhaps ... so many things we don't know about eh?! not sure i want to actually ... i use to have a desire to visit and stand among them ... to see if i "felt" anything ;) i think they are one of those "power spots" on the earth ... very cool haiku ... the subject was made for the form wasn't it?! good fortune to you in your search for the perfect pic ;))

I was born in the wrong century....I think Latin is such a cool language - pity people don't speak it anymore, apart from Harry Potter spells....;)

We live to find out that which is hidden, don't we? ....as a wise man once said, "It is the glory of God to conceal a matter; to search out a matter is the glory of Kings". :)

Amazing, they have stood the test of time, day and night for thousands of years. To me they sing a song of the natural environment. Sadly today, we seem to abuse it rather than celebrate it.

What did they know back then that we seem to have forgotten? They certainly emenate something, a connection that connects us all to a memory of what we once knew.
So thought filled, in so few words. Impressive.
