To disturb, or not to disturb......

I kissed

the "Do not disturb" sign

right off your lips

I hope

that in between

those words

looking like knives

there are a few 

sweet ones

with my name

and your strawberry lip gloss

etched on them.

This speaks to me of someone who accepts the faults of another for the good they receive from them, that is few and far between.
Words that look like daggers made me think of the saying "drawing daggers at someone", as in a contemtuous stare, but changing it to words adds venom. I like that.

This is really nice. Sometimes we want to be disturbed but put up the signs because we're afraid to admit it maybe. Sweet poem. The strawberry lip gloss makes me think of young love.
