Oh what a mood I'm in

You've put me into a mood

it sticks to me

like clouds in a hurricane

my push back is in vain

this red wine and blood stain

numbs like Novacaine

am I still sane?

I dunno...were you sane to begin with? I only ask because I grew up around people who questioned mine. Here is all I know about hurricanes. Water vapor is the fuel for a hurricane. Heat energy is absorbed by the water vapor when it evaporates from the warm ocean surface, cooling the warm ocean water in the process.
What did he (or she) do to inspire such a mood?

A short poem but an emotive one at that.....

It seems your mood does reflect the picture accompanying the poem. We all have those days where all we do and feel are done beneath a swirl of grey. I enjoyed the end rhymes in this one. Nice work.

I love when poetry hold so much emotion in them. I love the imagery of the clouds in a hurricane. And the last line...just ties it all together. That seems to be the big question in a lot of instances today. Love the pic you've included also. Thank you for sharing.
