One step at a time

One step at a time

A Poem by SleeplessVolcano

I’m digging deep, today, to find the strength I need

Mountains mock my roaring resolve

But no stone I’ll leave unturned

No extra mile I’ll refuse to walk

For one day soon, if not tomorrow -

These rugged puzzle pieces

Will start to fit ~

One by one.

So I lift my head

I steel my heart

To see that thousand word picture

Of me

Breaking free.

ohhhh yeah! love this poems theme...we got to keep on keepin' on ..my favorite line is this:
"For one day soon, if not tomorrow -" because i read the acknowledgement that ... already the narrator is not expecting it until the eternal tomorrow ;) great stuff ..love the perseverance of your protagonist ... i am setting my teeth.... making a smile and am going to sally forth into battle ;)))))))))))
