The colors of loveA Poem by SleeplessVolcano
My soul bled blue that day
those goodbyes sucked me dry I'll forget, come what may I lied to this gray sky. My hope bled brown once more sinking into dead soil if I knock on hell's door will I be spared this toil? My song bled silence, then the tune, of love, unsung so now, will sing, my pen of when love's piercings stung. My heart bled red one night when dusty letters spoke of solitude's great flight when in warm arms I woke.
