A 100 words & three promises

A 100 words & three promises

A Poem by SleeplessVolcano

I saved a hundred words
and stashed them in a secret chest
I'll open the day
You hungry ears
are once again
able
to listen
I promise
that my words are flavored
with spicy saffron
I promise
that they are more colorful
than our sunset kisses
I promise
that once our words flow again
I'll throw away
that secret chest.
