When wisdom speaks to would-be lovers

When wisdom speaks to would-be lovers

A Poem by SleeplessVolcano

When would-be lovers
Shoot from the hip
They don’t just maim each other
But their stray attempts
Of misplaced love
Can alienate a brother

Keep your heart secure
Your tongue, silenced
Heartache will not find you soon
When you stay faithful
To that promise -
Fresh love will be your full moon.
