At the wishing wellA Poem by SleeplessVolcano
I went to the wishing well
Where we whispered each other's names All those blue moons ago But it wasn't there Did I forget where it was? Did you fill it up? I wanted to leave some life In the spot where love blossomed, once At the wishing well So I planted a trio of sunflowers On the remains of our dreams Maybe, when they flower one day They'd look to the sun And they'd smile, Remembering our sunbeam love. © 2018 SleeplessVolcanoReviews
