Postcard from FijiA Poem by SleeplessVolcano
You did not respond to my postcard from Fiji
I wrote you a poem in pristine beach sand even the waves read it but the tide reluctantly had to sweep over it I drew pictures of our love in a cave, hidden to all but the mountain swallowed it I wonder if my image remained etched on the inside of your skull I whispered longing words right into the monsoon hoping that they'd be swept over countless oceans right to that very moment in time where you are trying to forget me.
