Thank you, for being you

Thank you, for being you

A Poem by SleeplessVolcano

Thank you, for being you.
Your Serengeti-wide calmness
chases all anxiety away,
until all that's left,
is peace
and common sense.

Thank you, for being you.
You're like the guru
on a foggy mountain -
dispensing wisdom,
to pilgrims of truth,
until all that's left
is clarity
and new vision.

Thank you, for being you.
Your words are constantly
sprinkled with salt -
tasty to all hearers,
until all that's left
is conviction
to carry your salt, too.

Thank you, for being you.
