Carpe Diem

Carpe Diem

A Poem by SleeplessVolcano

I have lots of words to sow
the problem is that I should know
which patch I should avoid or not
or else my fertile words will rot.

Some speak in waterfalls of waste
just babbling in endless haste
not speaking light in what they say
not learning how to seize the day.

My foolish words I'll try to kill
and hopefully one day I will
see the gardens that have grown
from seeds that I have wisely sown.

I love the wisdom behind your words
Silence is gold because somewhere in the back of your mind you must be placing together all the words that matter not just the ones to be simple used and trashed out

I like this one especially for its worthy rhyme scheme. It conveys a good bit of practical wisdom as well. Big kudos from me.
