When grace is enough - sonnetA Poem by SleeplessVolcanoMy sin, my
suffering, caused my sorrow It sings to
me, mocking every new day My whims, my
wants, have stolen tomorrow And silenced
the words, I’ve wanted to pray. This unbending
knee, so ready to sin Did Satan
coax me, to bow at death’s shrine? I hear, sung
to me, on this new-grace morn Undo my silence, I pray, let me speak Take from me this diabolical thorn. Do no fear, my child, when you’re weak, you’re strong Grace is enough, for I’ve undone your wrong. © 2017 SleeplessVolcanoAuthor's Note
