Another day, another page

Another day, another page

A Poem by SleeplessVolcano

Meet me under the red umbrella

I’ll read you a page from my new novella

They have the Columbian brew you love best

To stir a heated philosophical quest.

Your eyes look tired, are you sleeping enough?

Come on, talk now, you can say if it’s rough

A perfect remedy for your numb stare -

Two purple white poppies, weaved through your hair.

Come now, my muse, you cannot be still

For what then will happen to my writing will?

If only I manage to get your tongue loose

Maybe I’ll undo this tightening noose.
