Blinded eyes

Blinded eyes

A Poem by SleeplessVolcano

I parked next to the road
To write you a poem
My peripheral view
Hid the looming presence
Of a wayward truck
After 30 seconds
Of tumble-drying madness
My crumpled up gaze
Could only see
Drops of artistic blood
Smudged on your name.
