No condemnation

No condemnation

A Poem by SleeplessVolcano

Those who are in the flesh cannot please God

Their stubborn sin blows smoke into God’s face

No love shown for his staff or divine rod

While fires burn consuming so much grace.

Is there a point of no return for me?

Can I transgress so much that death is mine?
Or could it be that blood from Calvary,

Could turn my sinful waters into wine?

“No condemnation!” is Christ’s shout for us

The curse of sin and all it’s wicked pain

Will bow the knee the moment we can trust

That none but Christ alone we  see as gain.

No dead or alive thing can stop God’s love

And peace we’ll find when we know that’s enough.

some habits die hard :(( even Paul had his thorn in the side eh!? i can relate to every line of this ..one is well to remember the difference between condemnation and conviction ..very different things ;) i think the most fearful thing in the universe is to be cut off from God's grace by our stubborn, selfish, proud hearts and assenting minds .. in death .. to see God's glory and then be cast away from it ..no greater terror for me :(((((((((((((((((((
