Memories etched in ink

Memories etched in ink

A Poem by SleeplessVolcano

Contact not found

my address book said

and like a hound

thoughts chased in my head

Did I delete you?

was it for real?
was there a clue?

how could this heal?

then doubt sneaked in

was it all true?

all this turmoil within

is just making blue

the day came soon

when your name was taboo

when I bet the moon

I forgot my name too.

I've done that too. Sad when we remember too late.
