Her sad blues

Her sad blues

A Poem by SleeplessVolcano

She enticed me to indulge
in her full-color thinking
But I overindulged
on icy indigo, and addictive azure
and realized
it's best to get back to my grays -
at least the platinums or silvers
that visit me between the blacks and whites
of this monotonous life
is better than her ice-cold
blues

Something tells me she is still indulging. We all want a little color but sometimes it's best to stick with the grays.
