Light on a string

Light on a string

A Poem by SleeplessVolcano

On the wings
Of a wind-swept sparrow
She shared her soul's bright light

Off the curb
On a desert road narrow
She taught him how to fight

In the clouds
Of dreams unspoken
They flew their mutual kite.

Your choice of words is lovely, alternating rather neutral expressions with lightly poetic ones. I particularly like the last stanza.
