In search of a golden momentA Poem by SleeplessVolcano
I tried to capture her whimsical beauty
With an army of sharpened pencils She scattered away like spring-time butterflies Yet left some pollen of smiles on my face I tried to zoom out and find her hiding place When I sensed her revealing whisper, Saying simply- I've been right here, all along, That soft, soothing afternoon breeze, That warming rays of sun after rain - I'm your Indian summer, When your writer's block steals your smile. Don't look too deep, For my eyes are pools of fire - But steal a glance in a second And feel wisdom's power Saturate your restless soul © 2016 SleeplessVolcano |
