Cursed luck

Cursed luck

A Poem by SleeplessVolcano

He sieved out a knat,
but swallowed a camel
Cleansing his feet with fragrant perfumes
While his mouldy heart lay
attracting dust in a ditch,
next to the road to Damascus -
Pity he never made that joyous journey
Too much eerie hocus-pocus,
His dour destiny derived -
Under the spell of a witch.

oh my! i love it! enough innuendo to last the whole day long ... Biblical references contrast with moldy hearts and witches set an ominous warning tone ... creepy good! i am inspired to refreshen up and read again about that road to Damascus ..very cool poem says i! such a travesty when we fail to live our destinies ..for what ever reason ... when God truly calls we must answer in the affirmative or risk the soiling of our soul, heart and mind ..
