Piano love

Piano love

A Poem by SleeplessVolcano
"

"Love can be music to our ears"

"

My ebonies and ivories

Are tickled by your toes

My voice now is your soundtrack -

Your heartbeat, too, has slowed

Rest, my angel, here’s my chest

No need to fly away

You’ll blush at all the whispers  -

I ‘ll sing to you today

Give me the darkened thoughts

You’d cried about those nights

I’ll shower you with honeyed words -

Our new song’s taking flight

To my soul you must hold on

We’ll fly to new love shores

Our new horizon song will chime -

We conquered all our wars

I love piano so this really speaks to me. Favorite images: toe tickling and slowed heart. I especially like the description of darkened thoughts being woven into something new with the ivories and ebonies.

Your rhyme scheme is flawless and the wording is beautiful. Your description of a love that is warming and supportive in its lovely melody. Great job
