Your sweet words

Your sweet words

A Poem by SleeplessVolcano
"

"Some diets last forever"

"

No more sweets, said the doctor

As I swallowed the frog in my throat

That long walk in the park I promised you

Now has a tint of grey

But please meet me there

Where the grass started to grow again

Bring along your heart and soul

So that I can nibble on the sugar

your presence brings.

I promise that my dormant smiles

Will tickle your tight lips

To laugh again
