SOS for love

SOS for love

A Poem by SleeplessVolcano

Can we cuddle tonight?
My love at first sight
My strong sails are torn
And my presence is worn

My once sane mind is flawed
By anxieties painfully gnawed
Please hold me as sweetly
As you once did, completely.

Hush now, I hear your painful plea
No need to wallow on bended knee.
Come rest your ship in my calm, clear cove,
My embrace, again, your treasure trove.

Unhinge those fetters, holding you down
Let me kiss, your beautiful frown.
Like mercies are new, each and every morn,
Resurrected love, in our arms, now born.

Drown in sweet love is what came to my mind. But also a feeling of once being separated, hurt maybe but giving it another try like learning to love again and find peace in shared intimate moments.

The Power of Love............ To be able to shift our strengths and weakness to one another just long enough, for each to take turns for a rest.
It's neat to have a mate to hold us when when we can't ourselves.
But woe if it's one sided for too long.

Beautiful read... so much tenderness in your written actions. Gentle and loving full of compassion.
