A semblance of normality

"sometimes what we have got is all we need"

He thought his life was falling apart

when he saw the shreds -

bits of flailing pieces - 

of so many around him

a sobering thought brought solace.....

some would happily trade their lives

for his chaos.

He continued, rowing happily

towards his peaceful tower

between the calm waters.
