I enjoyed this little gem of a work, not only is it a true reflection of the poet wishing for anonymity, it reflects me. We all value our private lives, we do not want uninvited guests into our most secret haven. We are solitary people, writers write in boathouses, and attic rooms, roof spaces and beach dunes, sheltered from intrusion.
We like to have friends, but not all the time, we like to withdraw to contemplate before the memories vanish, or the analysis stop.
We unveil ourselves like onions, peeling away the out skin, our veneers one by one until we are naked, but not now, not today.
The problems you have shown are all of us that write, and if we remain anonymous, will anyone remember our work?

Another angle could also be our desire to be published....which inherently is a noble desire to have, yet with the digital age and Google, a lot of rubbish gets published too, so I am "calming down" those ambitions and rather focusing on making my writing better, ensuring that I continuously find joy in daily writing, and sooner or later, the 12-years-in-waiting breakthrough will come.....:)
