Saying sorry today,
Is soul destroying,
When I am going to do it
Again,
Tomorrow.
Yet the only things worse,
Is not even desiring sorrow.
No wonder my heart is hollow -
Ricochetting regrets,
Continuous frets,
Eating at my conscience,
Or what is left of it.
The assurance of knowing what is the right thing to do, and the reluctance of doing it. Why do some things get brought in our life when there's already something else riding shotgun? :)
some people learn quickly from their mistakes SV and then theres us (by the looks of it)
who learn v-e-r-r-r-y slowly but that deosnt mean we dont feel sorry - we may question whether we really do feel sorry or not - why else would we repeat mistakes -
we could be getting enabled ?? Its always good to apologise no matter how many times - and when we need to, we need to, as my dad would say"When you're wrong, you're wrong!" - despite how it depletes us..
Good write here - emotive.

- over here there is a peculiar thing that mothers do (some mothers who still believe in corporal punishment that is) - if the kids crying you often hear them threaten the kid with this lump of logic - "If you don't stop crying, I'll give you something to cry about." - weird but troo.
Great craic SV. xD

Lol@ corporal punishment......you make it sound so evil....:)
It is human nature to apologize for things we do over and over. Perhaps, for some, each moment is truthful and in the instant we say "sorry" we really mean it. While for others, it's just a step to appease or a foreshadowing of more to come. Either way, I enjoyed this.
