Don Quixote and his talking horse
Oh fearless stead, charge that castle, My lover awaits, in that steepest tower. Fear not the moat filled with snorting beasts, This is the moment, our hour of power. Pardon me, my revered and valiant lord, But there is no castle, only an abandoned fort. I know you have longings for that special lady, Yet only failure and pain these efforts would wrought. Stand back, my quivering four footed beast, Since when can those of your specie, speak? I will swim through the crocs on my own inspiration, On your resume I will include, you are fearful and weak! Alas, I did not hear or see my master again The year was 1605, no Freuds or Jungs, then So his bravado overshadowed his amazing senility That's why to this day, his spirit haunts Big Ben. © 2015 SleeplessVolcano |
