Sometimes I Wonder If You Miss MeA Poem by TheSleeplessKnighti am emptySometimes I wonder if you miss me from my fetal-tucked corner I think because though tear filled eyes the world becomes distorted colour shifted by violet prisms that give me hope with dancing images and lies of smiles like it used to be But wipe away such happy prisms and see the real world for what it is there are no smiles not from you nothing dances, the ocean lay still and grey the clouds fly over and away and are replaced with darker ones each time the birds stay hidden with no song and in low-tide of salty nothingness the waves as shallow as my metaphors which now dont venture my reflection riddled with ripples shows me what i hoped not know you dont miss me at all I really am alone but still, you might i wonder
