Needle and Thread

Needle and Thread

A Poem by SleepiePenguin

Hold onto my heart, while I try to fix it.

It shouldn't take more than a minute.

I have been taught countless times,
on how to mend a fragile heart.

So bear with me, while I start again.

I have been through this plenty of times,
and I know I can fix it.

Let me grab my red needle and thread,
after this you won't be able to tell.

Oh dear, it seems you tore a stitch.

It's alright though, it seems I have enough
needle and thread to fix it once more.

Thank you :)
Hurt and forget, be hurt and forgive. The same old song, same old story in our life and love.
I just leved the poem. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you :)
This is fantastic,
simple language,
but used with wit
and there is a sense of honesty to it.
Well done!
