b. Skin: Allen is pale but not exaggerated in tone either

c. Hair: Allen has slightly past the shoulder, long brownish black hair that typically has a cowlick and is unkempt.

d. Body Type: Skinny in the sense he eats little

e. Scars: Faint, small lip scar on the right side of his face from being clumsy and hitting his face on things repeatedly

f. Other: There is nothing that is 'physically and seen' different than a usual human being, by human being standards.

g. Unusual Notes of Interest: Though Allen doesn't tend to stand out in a crowd, he has a very sharp sense of his surroundings and a keen perception to otherwise mundane situations. Allen is unawares of the importance at the time, but can 'see' shadow-like objects (people or animals), being residual spiritual energy. He thinks this trait is due to schizophrenic like tendencies and takes pills for him to dull his senses. When he forgets or doesn't take his 'doses' on a regular pace, his sensitivity to everything around him is honed like a knife sharp. He is particularly sensitive to any kind of presence, seen or unseen, physically or spiritually in nature.

Mental Traits

---

a. Month and Year:

b. Persona (Major): Allen has no real motive in life other than to eke a living out of his modest living situation and make himself get through every day with his sanity intact. While nothing about him other than his heightened senses of awareness (off his medication) is seen by mundane humans, spiritually speaking he is a beacon for spirits and attracts all kinds of curious beings due to his ability to see, interact, and speak to them as if they were just another human being. Mostly harmless or even warmly mischievous spirits tend to try and communicate with him on some level, but he forces himself to believe he simply has a illness and needs to constantly increase how much of his pills he takes. Allen personally thinks all things have a purpose and nothing is of simple happenstance. Though he secretly yearns (but denies implicitly) to have some kind of role in life other than what he has now. He's not really interested in putting forth the effort unless a clear goal is in mind and he also tends to fall into brooding episodes when he occasionally recalls his past with his family members and how he abruptly cut them out of his life for personal reasons.

c. Persona (Minor): Rather curious and intellectually driven by new or little understood happenings around him. Though he suppresses this side of his nature, he naturally has a nagging feeling in the back of his mind that he's missing something from his life, or maybe he's not seeing the big picture, though as said, tries to deny this curiosity at all costs.

d. Trauma: Allen's family have been at odds with one another from the day he left home for his own independence. They were quite against him leaving as he was to be to be the head of the household after his father had recently been declared deceased when he failed to come back from a prolonged time after being deployed to an area considered dangerous by the government. All that they did know was that his father's body was never located and was considered MIA or dead. Allen never fully believed this story as he knew his father was a stubborn old geezer and had the tendency to be able to throw anyone he wanted in a loop when he felt like it. His father also had a heavy drinking problem, so even if he was drunk and walked into the line fire, Allen just knew he wouldn't die from some bullets or something like that. While they were never really close, Allen thought of his father as family even after rejecting the long held tradition of passing the head of house to the first born kin of the father's linage. Instead, he found himself located just outside a town called Black Birch and lived in a cramped apartment complex that seemed to be indifferent of his troubles one way or another. However, this was when he began to have the symptoms of what he considered to need anti-psychotic drugs. Something somewhere along the line triggered his latent ability to see and interact with spirits in that sense.

e. Nature: Allen is a modest and soft spoken fellow who simply wants to be ignored and left alone. Though he mainly distances himself out of fear of being thought as a lunatic for his visions and constant need for pills to drown out his surroundings. While he isn't quite able to keep his sights straight on any one particular goal in mind, he has kept a stable job (being a cab driver, of all things) and has his own set of ritualistic routines he does on the daily basis.

f. Nurtured: While he never wanted to cut ties with his family, the relationship was toxic and he disapproved of their life style and desires for greater things. While he himself likes to imagine being important, he doesn't think he'd ever actually be over all able to be as such on his own, let alone himself find something he didn't want-which was exactly what he subjected to when he discovered his ability.

Role in Story

a. Appears in what Story: Faux Tale (Only)

b. Main or Minor Character: Main Protagonist

c. Relationship to other Main or Minor Characters: While Allen has little interest in others, he develops a strong bond with a strange woman whose only known name is 'Miss Fox'. Miss Fox is a strange character in the idea she is quite old and also that Allen comes to consider her as a mother like figure. So in that sense, they are not lovers but instead like a family, according to Allen. Though Allen in that sense is very protective of Miss Fox, he wasn't actually at all caring for her other than she was a passenger in his cab.
