Demons and AngelsA Poem by DomThey watch but they have no eyes They have no ears but they hear our cries They smell our fear but without a nose They walk but they have no toes They snicker as they taunt We cringe as they haunt We hide under the covers when it's dark They're enraged with a fierce bite and bark We cover our ears to block out their howls They come to us from Hells bowels We think were safe when it's light They'll be back in the night
They watch us closely but from far away They observe us each and everyday They walk among us on the street They help us but we never meet They talk without saying to much We listen because they have our trust We pray that God sends them down They search until the right one's found We know we can't be deceived They leave when the message is received We watch as the winged creatures fly They return home to the heavens in the sky
