He knew

He knew

A Poem by Skywatcher
"

He knew, He knew, He knew, He knew, He knew, He knew, He knew, He knew, He knew, He knew, He knew...

"
When he saw her he knew.
He knew that he was in love.
He knew that life wasn’t going to be so bad after all.
He had lost his smile but knew that soon he would have it back.
He never knew how it felt before but now he did.
This wasn’t just some stupid idea in his head, his heart wasn’t faking it.
He knew that he thought he was in love before but really was in love with the thought of being in love.
Now he knew this wasn’t it.
It wasn’t fake or imaginary.
He knew this was real.
His heart was twisting inside,
slowing down his breath like she’d grabbed her heart and swore never to let it go.
He knew this was going to be difficult.
That’s because he knew nothing was easy.
He knew she might break him in pieces but he dreamt of another alternative.
He believed that for once life would not let him down.
He knew that if this ever was to work he’d have to give his all.
He knew he would anyway.
I mean, she was worth it.
He knew that.
