I Let it Go

I Let it Go

A Poem by Seeker
"

a girl looking skyward. Reminiscing a moment that feels so long ago, though it isn't really.

"

 So gentle and sweet are you!

If you're cocky,

you don't show it;

If you find true pleasure,

I may never know.

Your intentions are unknown to me;

Your motives, without sense

Or, perhaps in the bliss of my blindness,

I cannot see.

Nothing may change

And I'm okay with that.

I'll smile when you find your happiness.

As the flower tilts its head to rain

whilst nearly driven to the Styx of season drought,

I'm glad we're still friends.

I wrote this a couple months ago during a startling moment of clarity. Lesson learned: if you're gonna ask a guy to teach you how to kiss, make sure it's someone you at least know pretty well. If you notice the slight redundancy at the end of the first verse, ignore it. That was intentional.

This was a wonderful piece.
I'm glad I read it.

This piece i believe to be a bit more on the brighter side with respect to the "A Letter" poem. It brings about similar but obviously different emotions but from a similar position. Another good write
