En Limbo

En Limbo

A Poem by Skylar

An object at rest stays at rest until acted on by an outside force. This object lays, but not at rest, in a state of restless purgatory until it is acted on by an outside force and judged to spend an undetermined eternity either painfully separated or blissfully untied with what can only now be described as a somewhat otherworldly light. But the cliche ignorance is bliss crawls its way back into my head. The price of thought seems little to pay for even a few moments of bliss. So, hold the course in this state of romantic centrism, because even purgatory is better than hell.

You're an exception to the rule
You're a bonafide rarity
You're all I ever wanted
Southern girl
Could you want me?
-Incubus
