I waited for the blood, Sparrow’s blood to taste coppery like when you bite your lip or suck on a cut. But it tasted, sweet almost. It ran over my tongue like a fancy red wine. Only, 10 times better. It was better than everything and anything I had ever tasted and I wanted to stay like that forever.
