Chapter 25 of "Forever My Love."

The end of the day could’ve gone better. The word that I had fainted got around school pretty quickly making me more of an outsider and a freak. 

        I said goodbye to Theresa, Rider and Rachel as we all went separate ways. I sat in Science as we received another lecture. Damn idiots why can’t you just go to your lockers BEFORE?!? In all honesty I think some of these people LIKE being yelled. I am happy to say I missed the lecture…I fell asleep. But I am unhappy to say now I have TWO detentions scheduled for Monday.

        “I’m home!” I yelled walking into my house.

        “Hi Jamie,” called my mom from the den. I walked in and saw her typing away on her computer.

        “Can I go to the movies tonight?” I swear I must’ve grown two heads and started speaking alien because that’s how my mom looked at me when she said,

        “What?”

        “Rachel invited me and two other friends to go to the movies tonight…so can I go?”

        “Oh! Yeah absolutely what time?”

        “Rach is gonna text me when she’s here.”

        “That’s fine.

“Thanks.” I said retreating to my bedroom. I hadn’t realized how excited I actually was for tonight. I didn’t even know what movie we were seeing but I didn’t care. It wasn’t an evil dead girl coming after you for…for who knows what! I just want ONE night of being normal. Just one night.
