Chapter 4 in "Forbidden Love"

Like a G6 like a G6

The clubs music rang out through the whole place. I only heard the back beat of the drums.

Boom Boom Boom

As I pushed and shoved my way through the closely pressed bodies the whole world began to spin. I felt dizzier than a drunken b*****d. But the thing was the only alcoholic drink that had touched my lips that entire day was the one sip at Marik’s place. That’s when it hit me.

That hunter knew we were going to drink the liquor. He spiked them with something. I felt my fangs grow quickly and my eyes change. But I wasn’t hungry or on the hunt. I covered my mouth and pushed my way to the bathroom. I burst through the door and ran to the first stall and slammed the door shut. Then I puked my guts out. My head was pounding and the world my spinning. My fangs were soar to bite into someone’s neck, ANYONES.

I heard someone walk in. Two girls. They were giggling like crazy and stumbling in. Even without taking a full whiff of her I could tell she had more than 10 drinks.

“Oh my god he was hot!” said the girl on the left. I watched their feet as they stood in front of the stained and disgusting mirror. A wave of nausea hit me and I threw up again. The girls froze, and then I heard a soft knock on the stall door.

“Um, helloooo are you okay in there?” said the intoxicated girl. I stood up and slammed the door open, nearly falling on both of them. I landed on the wall and let it support me. The two girls arched their necks to try to see my face through my blonde hair. I lunged at both and sunk my teeth into the closest one. The other I threw against the wall and she was out cold in an instant. She crumpled to the floor her brown hair covering her face. The girl I was holding took in her last breathes as if to scream but fell to the floor, dead. I turned to the knocked out girl. She was bleeding badly on her head. I grabbed her propped her against the wall and bit into her neck. She woke up then and tried to claw me off of her. I didn’t mind, I needed her scared for the rush of a full kill. Then like her friend she too dropped to the floor. I looked at myself in the mirror; my mouth was covered with blood that dripped down my neck onto my shirt. My eyes were sharp and my hair was a mess. I looked at my two victims, their bodies covered in blood and the sides of their necks torn open. I’ll be seeing this tomorrow on channel 10.

From the restroom the music was muted a bit. As soon as I opened the door the full volume of it hit me like a brick wall. My head screamed and I ran out of there fast. Once outside the cold night air surrounded me. Damn you…you….whoever you are! I stumbled into an ally and spent the night behind a dumpster.

"My fangs were soar to bite into..." - What does 'soar' mean in this context?

I like the drama and emotion at the end. I was wondering if there was any indirect symbolism going on in the last paragraph.
