whats to learn

i walked to streets of Manchester and found only dead end signs
so i gazed up at the stars wishing i could leave it all behind
they lifted me to the milky way where i met the man in the moon
he took me skating on Saturn's rings where i told him about you
i told him how you made me cry
how your smile breaks my heart
how i tried to give you the whole world
only for us to fall apart
he replied " the world is not yours to give
nor should one walk it alone
find the person made just for you who you were meant to hold
do not try to give each other the earth, seas or sky
rather explore every inch together looking through each others eyes"
