Which Way

It's not that I don't like you, it's just that my heart and my head got all confused when I realized he likes me too. I can't even tell left from up or right from down, if that's even right at all. The unexpected throws me through a loop and as I'm falling I can't seem to see the net beneath me yet. All I can do is hope there's one there or that someone will come swinging through the air to catch me before I hit the ground. That's who's for me, but I don't know who it is. Is it you? Him? Neither?... My heart would thank the universe for an answer, but for now all I can tell you is that I like you a lot and I wish my head could form the words I want to say to you, but every time I have the chance, I try, and everything but poetry or even just what I want to say comes out; it goes all wrong and my words get twisted up in each other. Sometimes I’m amazed any actual words form in my rush to come up with the way to say what I want to say. So what am I to do?
