Stop this war that I dread

I wrote this a long time ago... and put it on a site that i cant remember the name of ^^;

 

We have always won the battles

Always reached up high

Through life and death I love you so

Just to see that smile

 

A bang went off that faithful day

You falling to the ground

I looked down at you

And you at me

But all you did was smile

 

As you slowly closed your eyes that day

I remembered what you said

And I will keep this promise to you my dear

No matter what I tread

No matter the challenge or mountain I face

With this I live on and play the saving grace
