Incense

Incense

A Poem by Skylah Ginette

Swirling smoke

Inside a sunbeam.

Eddies of air

Settle, then shift,

A slow sway.

Twirling, curling,

Bending, now backwards,

Dancing to the rhythm

Of breath.

Very good use of description. Make the movement of the smoke come alive to the reader. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.

Soft and soothing is how this reads to me today. Such a sweet and hypnotic fragrance floats from your words Skylah.
