Hope

Hope

A Poem by TheHatter

The one who hopes
takes a leap of faith.
Refusing to idly stand by,
to find themself cornered.
But in turn risks it all,
for what could be a deadly fall.

I found myself resonating so well with this piece. I have taken a leap of faith in doing something which I have always wanted to do.

Refusing to idly stand by - man o man that is such a poweful line for and that is how I had felt for a while until I took my leap of faith.

Thanks for such a short but powerful, meaningful piece.

Mark.

Though it's short, it's very true and relatable. Hope is a powerful thing, but it makes us take deadly risks. Good job :)
