Deniable Truth

Deniable Truth

A Poem by Roxy

Tell me how these people live

making wrong decisions-

and people are given in-

forgetting about the respect for eachother

why cant we live in peace of mind

from bombs blowing over our heads

Making chemicals gases flow ontop like a brutal mess

left to distress and depress

those who want to progress and confess but instead we-

let the younger ones breathe it in, fill thier lungs

fill thier minds, rip their tongues-

with questions that sting our minds

sting our souls,

things we dont think about till we get old-

we all need to ask ourselves, is this really what we want

we need to brace ourselves to whats really going on

-in this world that we're living in

"People killing people dyeing, children hurtin' and women cryin'

can we practise what we preached, or will we turn the other cheek,

father father father help us, send some guidance from above, cause these

people got me got me quiestioning, where is the love?"

I see no changes, all i see is racist faces

all i see is first class places-

no embraces-

i wanna see smiles with braces

a smile replaces-

all traces of undeniable changes

stomachs are burning from hunger and lonesome

waiting to be filled with love

-flooded with love

waiting for food to be disposed of

so tired of eating the rest of

others happiness, feeling unworthy of dreams and real things

like real food thats thiers

and not someones brings

we're all made to be fit like Kings and Queens

But

minds are lost and dazed, worried

on whats near

waiting to be burried

these thoughts die each year

Tears that are not yours do not get wiped

tears that fall from above fell like its been sniped

we all have to look into eachother and look ahead

that in the end its you and I

-and we all bleed red.

Hello Roxy,
How true are your words. It does take man to change attitudes and opinions, and how we respond to the needs of others. We must let go of caring only about "me", and reach out to others with love...not a sham of love, but with true love, to be fully concerned for another fellow man! There are many things to cry about, but if we all just do one good thing to help another for every day that we awaken, we will have made a dent in the mountain of calamities...though it be only a small dent, it will leave a mark that perhaps will grow as others add to it.
I try to live by the concept of "pay it forward", and random acts of kindness, as we never know how our actions are going to be perceived by another. We don't know who is watching us, who is going to want to do as we do.
Yes, in the end we all bleed red. May we bleed the red of love.
Good write to joggle the mind, and with many things to keep inside the spirit and not just let it sit there, but take it and help another with memory of it!!
