Chapter twoA Chapter by Sunny SkyeChapter 2: The neighborhood was silent it was like their was nobody there. We saw shadows every where we looked. The houses weren’t as great but they had no doors. WE saw one that looked welcoming so we entered. The wallpaper in this house was ripping apart the floor was dirty and it looked like it had blood stains. We grabbed a knife from the kitchen and searched every room for a phone. But we didn’t find one. The last room there was we all entered it together and the only thing that was in that room was a giant dinner table, it looked very expensive and it was made out of glass on top of the table there was a whole row of guns some were the same other were different. What got my attention was the big bazooka in the middle of the table and the rifle. I love big guns especially in games that you get to kick some zombie butt. We had bags so we got rid of things we didn’t really use or need and place all the guns in each of our bags. Well of course we were each holding a gun just in case. Next thing you know we hear people walking but they didn’t sound like people. They tried to talk but they couldn’t. They looked awful they were white super white and they all had dirt all over them and they walked very slow you could say they we’re zombies. “Ahhhh what is that???” screamed Mellissa. “They look dead” said Legarious. “Yeah they are probably dead” I said. “Well what do we do?” asked Legarious. “Run!” I said. We all ran until we were back at the cottage it seemed like if someone was there after we left because we left a note saying we left to the road just incase if the others came back. We found the note on the trash all ripped and dirty. Hours and hours passed and we waited and waited but no sign of anything. So we left. We headed east we didn’t exactly know why we chose to go on that direction but we thought it would be best to get away from the neighborhood and go somewhere there’s no zombies. “Hey guys you saw the cars in the neighborhood right?” I asked and stopped walking. “Yeah” said Devin. “Yeah the looked like brand new” said Legarious. “Right so why don’t we go back on the morning and get a truck so we’re not wondering around and start losing each other again.” I said. “Sure but will have to be careful you saw them back there they didn’t look human anymore” said Devin. “Hell no! I am not going back there” said Mellissa. “Oh why you’re scared?” asked Legarious teasing. “No!” said Mellissa. She was mad already. “Then go” said Devin. “Leave her alone she’ll go if she wants and if she wants to stay she can be adopted by zombies” I said laughing. “Ha-ha very funny” said Mellissa. “So you’re going?” said Devin. “Whatever” said Mellissa rolling her eyes. You could already tell none of us weren’t goanna get along since she’s not in the laughing mode. We started walking again and then the Ravens started flying again. We quickly ran into a little house which just looked storage and it was gated and old and it was burnt. We quickly checked it to make sure no one was there and we got in. It smelled awful like something died. “Everyone remember stay quite and if you’re going to say something whisper it” I said. “We should stay here for the night” whispered Devin. “Yeah but will have to go hunt for food or go find an abounded market or something okay” I said very quietly. “Awesome because we haven’t eaten all day” said Legarious. “Alright so when the darkness leaves will go into the woods and get some wood to start a fire and to put some protection in this storage room since we wouldn’t be sleeping out in the open we should at least be safe in here.” I said. It was like I was the leader like everyone else didn’t know what to do so I had to say what. No one stepped up and said anything about what we should do so I always came up with everything. Everyone is scared and so am I can’t say I’m not because then I would be lying but I’m brave enough to go out there and look for answers. “I wish I was at the beach with my friends having fun and laughing, eating hot dogs and sandwiches. Getting stomach aces because we ate too much junk food” I said smiling and crying. “I just want to go back home” said Mellissa. “And I feel the same way as you do Skye. But we got stock here for a reason and we should find out what’s going on at this place. Like seriously those people look like zombies. And theirs no such thing” said Devin. Devin came up and hugged me. We’ve been friends since we were six and we were always together. It was like we were brother and sister. After a few hours the sun was out in all the days we’ve been here we haven’t seen the sun it was always cloudy and foggy. But now the sun was out and there was the biggest silence ever. © 2012 Sunny SkyeReviews
