Mixed signals

Yeah i don't know

For the past year

I’ve been ignored by your eyes

No matter what others said

You’ll always see me as just a friend

 

This has been clear to me

For some days you would play

Then you would say hi

And then we would laugh together

 

Sending mixed signals are confusing me

Making me think even more than before

 

Later  you grab my hands you kiss me,

Smile then walk away

The next day you high five me

And walk away

 

I don’t understand your weird ways

But all you do is make me think

Over think things that don’t need any thinking

 

Today you ask me out

And I say yes stupidly

Thinking it would be a mistake

But now you won’t let me go

And you yell to the world

This is my girl

 

I smile in the outside

But inside I am worried

This might not last for long

And one day you’ll be long gone

This is so sweet. It's so bad when you like a boy and all you do is worry that it won't work because you desperately want it to! I like the ending - I was afraid you or the character (no idea if it's real or not)! would be let down by the boy!
