Regrets

Regrets

A Poem by Sunny Skye

This world is full of liars

And you were never one of them

You always stood out

Yet I never believed you

You were once here

And now you have disappeared

But sometimes goodbye is a second chance

I hope you’ve found her

I hope you found the girl you were looking for

I hope she makes you happy

I wish you the best

With no regrets

I hope one day you’ll look back

And remember me with no regrets

I apologize for my insults

And my anger that was never meant to hurt you

Awww, sad.
But I don't believe you that you have no regrets. It sounds to me like you regret the way you treated somebody. So as a poem this is a little bit contradictory.

Many, many people insist life should have no regrets, it has become a kind of catch phrase, but sometimes you should regret. Regret is an okay feeling to have, I'd like to see you admit to them in this poem.

You don't have to listen to me, as always, I just throw it out there, you can take it or leave it, it's only my opinion.

There's a lot of emotion here. In my opinion, it's better to follow the old adage, "show don't tell". Think of images in your head that follow these feelingsa you have. All people, remember, have regrets. Everyone, no matter how much it's buried, and regret is a valid human emotion to have. The act of showing no regret or expressing that you have none or wanting to be vierwed as having no regrets is a form of hiding portions of yourself, which in and of itself is a valid emotion to write about, hiding regrets.

A very good poem. A lot of liars in the world. Good to know someone before sharing secrets or getting close. I like the hope and honest emotion in the poem. Thank you for sharing the outstanding poetry.
